A Case of the Congenital Stricture at the Site of Bilateral Ureterovesical Junction


Abstract
Congenital ureteral stricture can be appeared at the site of the localized developmental arrest. Stricture of the lower are seen most commenly in the first decade of life and are, as a rule, quite rare.
Recently we experienced a 3 month year old girl with the congenital stricture at the site of bilateral U-V juntion. The ureter were reimplantated into the bladder by the method of Glenn-Anderson. Histologically the strictured segment had normal ureteral musculature and their arrangement. But the lumen was narrowed abundant collagen tissue.
